Today I went down to my mother’s house. We planned on goingout and doing some photography. My parents also love taking photos. Since we haven’t done this in a while. We decided to go to Chestnut Park in Tarpon Springs. Plus it allow me to test outa new lens I just got. I had to buy a new lens, because my Sigma lens decided to go south on me. So I did some research and decided I was going to get the Canon28-135mm lens IS. It turns out so far I really like this lens. I think I will be happy with it. I would have preferred an 18-135mm but Canon does not have that range. I also used my 70-300mm lens. Which I don’t use a lot. So while I was down there, I also used that lens.
We ended up starting off around 10am and probably got to the park about 10:30 or so. We ended up taking some pictures of birds and a few ducks. Plus one small alligator. It look liked it might be a small one probably an baby. So I was happy with what we got. It was nice to be able to do this with my mother. After we left the park, we went to eat lunch. I then headed home.
It was nice to be able to go down and take pictures. It is really fun. I’m also posting a few of the pictures I took will down there. We didn’t get a lot of photos. But the few we did get were nice. I hope to do it again.
