Walking

(I do not normally comment to a blog but I am interested in this post so I felt stimulated to do so. Straying in a slightly different direction from the subject somewhat, what are your thoughts concerning walking? It is generally being advertised as the best exercise to burn fat.)

Well as I’m not an trainer in fitness. I can only give my opinion. I personally think walking is good for a lot of reason. One just getting out side and getting some fresh air. I try to walk at least 3-4 times a week. Although that doesn’t happen during the winter. But even then I get my walking in. Just by not parking close to the store and walking out to my mail box. I normally park in the back on a parking lot and walk in to a store. Well unless its at night, then you probably don’t want to do that.

I know when I worked in an ER. I walked a lot, probably 2-3 miles in 12 hours. I was always 125 when I work at the hospital. I never dieted or exercised. But I did walk alot during that time. I didn’t realize it then, but not until I stop working there. Then my weight went up.

Now I eat better then I did then and I try to get as much walking in as possible. I do think walking is good for people to do.

As for my weight I’m down to 126 so I’m doing good on that.

I love walking. I walk every day with the baby around the neighborhood. If I feel adventurous I go jogging too.
Looks like you’re doing good with your diet, that’s great!
