Political Protests are part of our Constitution. But it seems some people have gone to far with it.
Immigration and Custom Enforcement short for ICE. They enforce our immigration laws and deport illegals who either have done crimes or have over stayed their stay. This is not new and most countries have similar laws for this. But now that President Trump is again doing this the Left feels this is wrong. They are using their 1st Amendment Right. Not in the way our four father’s meant to be used. I don’t think they thought it would be used to block ICE with cars and going into house of worship to protest.
Every President has deport illegals probably for as long as we have been the US. Here is a list of Presidents from Clinton to Trump….
- Bill Clinton 1993-2001 869,646 Illegals Deported
- George W. Bush 2001-2008 2,019,539 Illegals Deported
- Barack Obama 2009-2016 3,062,581 Illegals Deported
- Donald Trump 2017-2020 1,210,034 Illegals Deported
- Joe Biden 2021-2025 757,020 Illegals Deported
- Donald Trump 2026-Present 675,000 Illegals Deported (2.2 million self-deportations)
Looking at the other Presidents vs Trump he had not deported as many as the other Presidents combined. So he is the “bad” guy in this? The self deportations, they can come back when they do it the legal way. The 675,000 are the criminals we don’t want here anyways….
Some of the reasons these people are being deported…
- Visa Overstays, Illegal entry/reentry, fugitive status
- DUI, reckless driving
- Smuggling, Fraud
- Drug related possession, prostitution, gambling offenses
- Theft, burglary, vandalism
- Child rape/sexual assualt
- Homicide/Murder
- Drug Trafficking
- Gang Members: MS-13 or similar, tied to violent crimes
I’m sure other countries are running to take these people in. Any takers? My opinion we need to support ICE and other law enforcement officers and not be protesting against them or harassing other people in this country.
The people that calm these are the hard working construction workers, maids, low skilled workers are wrong… There is a means to come to the US as a worker either Permanent or Temporary. Because those being deported by ICE already have a criminal record and can’t come legally.
The Permanent workers that come here ranges from 140,000-196,760 depends on the year. Temporary Workers 1.085 million temporary workers. Yes there is a limit but there needs to be. As we shouldn’t just let anyone come in.
So yes I’m one of those people that supports the actions of ICE and law enforcement officers that are working to remove the illegals.
